I'm getting soooooooooo excited for this movie.

And now moving on to other news, was just directed to a quote from the current Angel magazine, in which JM is asked about a Spike movie. His reply was odd though not surprising.

BtVS/AtS Magazine: There's been a lot of speculation recently about a Spike TV movie. Joss Whedon has been vocal on the internet.

JM: Has he?

BtVS/AtS magazine: He said that Spike's the one character that he would be really interested in doing a TV movie with...

JM: The liar {laughs}. The real truth of it is that I'm the only one who's willing to do it. David and Sarah don't want to do it. So that's what that is. In all honesty, I never really thought that Joss had any ideas for my character. If you examine the plot structure of the show, my character's remained incredibly passive. Most of the time everyone's going "Why is Spike here, anyway?"

I wish James would realize his damn potential. Hello, he's attended Juliard. He needs to push the verse to the side and focus on bigger and better (well, I doubt many things will be better than BtVs and AtS, but hey) things. A spike movie would only help stereotype him even more. Not a good thang if he wants that carreer of his to blossum. He should say no to tv movie, say yes to big screen movie (I'll assume would include most of the cast, DB and SMG as the headliners), but until then, move on and away from the verse.
